As a professional group to undertake sales promotions on behalf of our client companies, Marss Japan is committed to supporting sales and marketing activities, with total distribution support from upstream to downstream to consumers.
We offer a range of support for "marketing and sales", from store renovations to grand openings to emergency response to recalls.
We will help our clients discover and resolve issues through on-site research and providing human resources where necessary.
In addition to supporting sales and marketing activities, we provide our clients with user friendly, effective tools, cultivated through our 50 years of experience.
99% of the tobacco market share is occupied by three major companies, with dozens of companies competing for the remaining 1%. Together with the manufacturer, we hope to expand our sales within that 1%, by opening new retailers within the CVS space and expanding the number of SKUs in existing stores.
While we hoped to launch promotional sales across the country in line with our new product launch, concerns such as "too few nationwide demonstration companies" and "decreasing our level of business by expanding into developing areas" prevented us from doing so. Therefore, utilizing the organization capabilities of Marss Japan, we decided to promote our new products through product marketing and sale expansion across seven major cities nationwide.
Intially we tackled the influx of Chinese visitors with beauty department employees and interpreters, however language and collaboration barriers led to inaccurate sales. In order to solve this issue and expand our sales, we brought on "Bilingual Beauty Department Employees" who could directly interact with our visitors.
